  • The Center for Computing and Information Technology offers a free workshop on how to use Pine e-mail in the CCIT Room 311 from 2 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.

    The workshop will show participants how to access and use Pine e-mail from computer systems inside and outside the UA. Topics include sending, replying to and creating folders to organize e-mail messages. An account on the UA e-mail system is required prior to the class.

  • The Student Recreation Center is sponsoring free skin cancer screening from 11:30 until 12:30 poolside at the Student Recreation Center .

  • Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering presents William Schmitendorf, of the University of California Irvine, to speak on "Using Linear Matrix Inequalities to Solve Robust H-infinity Control Problems," in the Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering Building Room S202 at 4 p.m. Refreshments will be served at 3:20 p.m. in room N722.

  • The College of Medicine and Nursing presents N. Scott Momaday, Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist and regents professor, to speak on "Native American Healing," in the University Medical Center's DuVal Auditorium from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. General admission $10; students with valid ID $5.

  • The Memorial Student Union's Gallagher Theatre is showing "Raiders of the Lost Ark" at 7:30 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. Admission is $2.50.
