UA softball team on the road again

The Arizona softball team begins a six-game, three-day road trip when they play Arizona State in Tempe today. The doubleheader begins at 6 p.m.

The Wildcats (33-4 overall, 7-1 in the Pacific 10 Conference) are coming off a sweep of No. 5 Washington, 3-2, 8-2 at home and two losses on the road to No. 2 Fresno State (37-6), 5-2, 6-5. They will likely lose their No. 1 national ranking when the new poll comes out this week.

Arizona State (28-8, 6-4) is currently ranked 11th.

The Wildcats will then matchup in doubleheaders with Oregon (13-20-1, 2-4) on Saturday at 1 p.m. and with Oregon State (22-18-1, 0-6) the following day at the same time.
