Roby Achievement Awards presented

140 student athletes, a new school record, were honored for their academic achievement at Monday's luncheon.

The awards have been handed out since 1977. This year's list increases the all-time number of honorees to almost 1,350.

Nine UA athletes were named Distinguished Scholars for maintaining a 4.0 GPA.

This group includes freshman Kevin Huff (football), senior Jonathan Pillow (track), senior Viola Schaffer (track), senior Andre Sabbah (diving), junior Davi Paletz (track), freshman David Floyd (football), graduate student Wyane Wyatt (football), senior Jennifer Rickard (soccer) and senior Claudia Stanescu (swimming).
