By staff reports Arizona Daily Wildcat April 25, 1997 Police looking for peeperseen in women's bathroom
The University of Arizona Police Department is looking for a man seen watching a female student shower Tuesday in a La Paz Residence Hall bathroom. A resident of the hall, 602 N. Highland Ave., told police she went into a restroom and found a man crouched behind the bathroom door about 11:35 p.m. Police reports stated that another female student, who did not see the man, was taking a shower at the time. The resident told police that the man pulled up his pants after he saw her and ran out the door. The resident said she did not see the man's genitals, police reports stated. The resident described the man as white, about 6 feet 2 inches tall with "dishwater" colored, medium-length blond hair. She also said the man was in his 30s and had a medium build and a mustache. The man was wearing blue jeans and a dark-colored polo shirt, police reports stated. A resident assistant told police that female residents of the hall have reported three other occurrences with a similar man in other women's restrooms this semester, but none of the incidents were previously reported to police. The resident assistant said the last incident occurred about the end of March. Police are asking anyone with information about the man to call 621-UAPD.
