- The Memorial Student Union Gallagher Theatre is showing "Eraser" at 7:30 and 9:45 p.m. Admission is $2.50.
- The Faculty Chamber Artist Series presented by the School of Music and Dance presents Lorenzo Trio in Crowder Hall at 8 p.m.
Admission for faculty and staff is $8, for senior citizens and students $5 and general admission is $10. For more information, call 621-1162.
- Faculty Senate Meeting is being held in the College of Law Room 146 at 3:15 p.m.
- The Writing Skills Program presents Kendra Gaines to speak on "Writing the Standard Paragraph," in Modern Languages Room 410 at 5 p.m.
- The Steward Public Talks presents Christopher Impey of the UA, to speak on "Checking Up on the Big Bang," in Steward Observatory Auditorium Room N210 at 7:30 p.m. The free one-hour lectures are open to the public and include a question answer period. On good viewing nights after the lecture, the public is invited to view the night sky through the observatory's telescopes.
- The Exhibition of Sewn Photographic Collages, by Pam Deutschman of Pima Community College, is being shown at the Center for the Arts, 2202 W. Anklam Road, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
- Ecology and Evolutionary Biology presents Peter Reinthal, of East Michigan University, speaking on "A Phylogentic Overview of the Freshwater Fishes of Madagascar," in Bio Sciences West Room 301 from 4 to 5 p.m.
- The Southwest Retail Center of the UA presents "Keys to Successful Leadership in a Global Marketplace" in the Memorial Student Union's Gallagher Theatre from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m. A reception immediately follows in the foyer of the theater.
- Alpha Epsilon Delta, the pre-health honorary society, presents Joseph Alpert, of the UA, to speak on "The Role of Health Care in Society" in Modern Languages Room 350 at 5 p.m. All pre-health students are welcome.
- Education By Eample, an enviromental committee, is meeting in the Memorial Student Union Room 101 at 5:30 p.m.
