I wanted to express my disappointment with the lack of coverage in the Wildcat on major club sporting events, namely Arizona Rugby. Last weekend we traveled to Laramie, Wyoming to complete in the "Jackalope Invitational". By Sunday we had climbed up the brackets to the championship match. We were to play the Air Force Academy, which is currently ranked number two in the nation.
At an extreme altitude, wearing our University of Arizona jerseys proudly on our backs, we took to the field and for the next 60 minutes. We played our hearts out and left every drop of energy on the field. When the final whistle sounded we were one try away from victory. I can't fathom why this superb show of courage doesn't warrant a mention of our hard work.
