- BGALA sponsors activities on the Mall from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in recognition of National Coming Out Day. A free dance is in the Memorial Student Union's Senior Ballroom tonight-call BGALA at 621-7585 for times.
- The Memorial Student Union's Gallagher Theater is showing Phenomenon at 7:30 p.m. and 9:50 p.m. Tomorrow and Sunday The Rock in playing at 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. Admission is $2.50.
- The University Activities Board is sponsoring "Eat to the Beat" where local bands perform in the Memorial Student Union's Cellar from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Today, Atomic Frog is performing.
- The Brown Bag Lecture Series presents Robert Emanuel, LAS graduate student, speaking on the "Central American Refugees, Human Rights and US Immigration Policy", in the Social Science building room 332 from noon until 12:50 p.m.
- The ASUA Women's Resource Center is offering a free workshop on self-defense from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday in the Student Recreation Center room A. Registration is requested for information call 320-0490.
- The Applied Mathematics Brown Bag Seminar presents Craig Abbey speaking on "Approximate Distribution for a Class of Implicitly Defined Estimators and Applications to Image Quality," at 12 p.m. in Math Room 402.
