- The Election '96 State Senate Forum presents "Education Legislation Where Do We Go from Here," in the DuVal Auditorium of the University Medical Center from 5 p.m. 6:30 p.m.
Candidates for the Arizona State Senate will share their goals. A question and answer period following.
Refreshments will be served at 4:30 p.m.
- The Center for Computing and Information Technology is offering a free workshop on how to use QuickSearch in the Science and Engineering Library from noon until 1:30 p.m.
QuickSearch is a do-it-yourself computer retrieval system accessing millions of references in over 400 databases. The purpose of the program is allow the UA community to do their own computer literature searches without personal cost.
A UA identification card is required.
- The University of Arizona versus Arizona State University Blood Donor Challenge is taking place on the UA Mall from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
The blood drive is an effort to help the Red Cross while raising school spirit. Each donor receives a free T-shirt.
The competition will continue through Friday.
- The Health and Wellness Marketing Group presents Janina Latack, of the UA, speaking on "Are You Managing Change or Going With the Flow?" at the Pima County Medical Society, 5199 E. Farness Dr. from 8 a.m. until 9 a.m. Registration begins at 7:30.
Latack will address dealing with stresses associated with the rate of change in the health care industry.
Admission is $5 for members, $8 for non-members.
- The Memorial Student Union's Gallagher Theatre is showing "The Nutty Professor" at 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Admission is $2.50.
