Elliott, the 1989 national player of the year, led the Wildcats to their first-ever Final Four appearance and their first-ever No. 1 ranking. He left the UA as the all-time leading scorer in Pac-10 history and has taken a spot with the San Antonio Spurs. Elliott is the only UA athlete to have his jersey retired.
