Arizona Daily Wildcat
December 9, 1996
In an effort to cover arrests and incidents of alleged crimes more completely, the Arizona Daily Wildcat is now printing the disposition of arrests that were published in the Daily Wildcat after they have been consummated by a court of law.The Daily Wildcat believes it is important to keep the community aware of criminal activity on campus and the actions of law enforcement. This includes publishing the name of someone arrested by police. The newspaper also wants the public to be aware of the outcome of those arrests, especially when charges against someone arrested are later dropped.
The following is a listing of case dispositions to date involving persons arrested by the University of Arizona Police Department whose names were included in the Daily Wildcat. The Daily Wildcat will continue to follow other cases as they go through the court system.
