Wildcat arts magazine overlooks important record stores in reviewEditor:I am sitting here at my desk, banging my head against the wall, pondering how the hell your researcher Beren could inexplicably leave PDQ Records and Tapes out of your article "A rating of music stores in Tucson (2/6)." PDQ is a blessing to have here in Tucson; I've been in larger cities that have nothing even close to PDQ, and yet you pass them up in favor of the nationwide blowhard chain Musicland. PDQ offers a huge range of music and an even greater selection, located fairly close to the university (SE corner of Grant and Dodge). They have more vinyl than one could handle, and they have a great selection of hard-to -find and import CDs. Why bother belittling Musicland when you could have introduced and praised PDQ to a campus full of music lovers? For those looking for a new, wonderful musical purchasing experience, ignore the Wildcat's ignorance and see PDQ for yourself.
