Gymnnasts dissapointed after poor meet in Seattle

The Arizona gymnastics team fell on the road to eighth-ranked Washington and 20th-ranked Boise State in Seattle over the weekend.

The Wildcats finished third with a score of 191.925, far behind the Huskies' school-record score of 195.325 and BSU's 192.325.

Only three Arizona gymnasts finished in the top four of any event. Heidi Hornbeek and Kristin McDermot tied for second in the uneven bars with scores of 9.875, while McDermot also finished third on the balance beam (9.750).

Arizona drops to 9-3 with the loss. Next up for the Wildcats is a meet against in-state rival Arizona State on Feb.28.
