Columnist hereticalBy Gonzalo Martinez Celaya
María del Sagrario Ramírez's commentary of August 29 has to be some of the most heretical nonsense I've come across in this post-Vatican II era. She claims to be Catholic and to teach her "kids to be good practicing Catholics," yet she supports the slaughter of innocent babies through abortion? María, surely you jest. Catholicism explicily forbids divorce, yet she claims to "believe in marriage, even though I'm divorced." And what diatribe of a minority separatist cafeteria Catholic like Ramírez without her feminist absurdity that "God is a woman and Jesus is a Black man"? Evidently she rejects the divinity of Christ as well. Such modernist foolishness is about as logical as saying, "Even though I'm Protestant, I believe in the doctrine of papal infallibility and the dogma of the Immaculate Conception."
