The 6th Annual Film and Video Series "Lesbian Looks" kicks off tonight at 7:30 in the Auditorium of the Modern Languages building. The series begins with award-winning artist Barbara Hammer's mixed-genre film, "Tender Fictions." Also screening are the film shorts "Mommie Queerest" by local artist Beverly Seckinger, and "Dear Mom" by Diane Bonder.

Learn how to harness hardware, software and development tools to create a dynamic presence on the web. Attend Building Website Infrastructure from a Not-Too-Technical Perspective from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. today in Room 218 of the Chemistry and Biological Sciences building.

Discuss "Central Nervous System Cell Injury and Water Motion: The Biophysics of the Magnetic Resonance Apparent Diffusion Constant Visualization of Stroke" with Joseph J.H. Ackerman of Washington University in St. Louis. The seminar takes place today in Room 5403 of the Arizona Health Sciences Center from 11 a.m. to noon.

Ty Martinez discusses "A Continuous Wave Dye Laser for Use in Astronomical Adaptive Optics." Martinez begins this talk at 9 a.m. today in Room 701 of the Meinel Building.

Learn the "Endocytic Trafficking of Proteins and Lipids," as discussed by Frederick R. Maxfield of Cornell University Medical College. Just head over to Room 8403 of the Arizona Health Sciences Center from 2 to 3 p.m. today.

Join UA's Beth Huey in discussing the "Identification and Characterization of the Cryptosporidium parvum csl gene," from 11 a.m. to noon today. Huey will lead this lesson in the Basic Sciences building of the Arizona Health Sciences Center, Room 8403.
