Arizona Daily Wildcat February 25, 1998 Baseball washed away, doubleheader todaySince yesterday's baseball game between Arizona and Southern Utah was rained out, the teams will play a doubleheader today starting at 2 p.m. at Frank Sancet Field.Eighth-ranked Arizona (17-2 overall, 1-2 in the Pacific 10 Conference Southern Division) is coming off one win and two losses at second-ranked Southern Cal. The Thunderbirds (4-6) come in after losing two of three to in-state rival Utah. Starting the first game of the doubleheader will be UA sophomore southpaw Tony Milo (4-0, 2.95 ERA) against Southern Utah left-hander Scott Harrison (1-2, 7.47). The Thunderbirds will send right-hander Nick Roberts (3-0, 6.75) to the mound in the second game. Arizona has not announced who will oppose him yet, though head coach Jerry Stitt said Monday that right-hander Dave Abbott (1-0, 7.36) is the likely candidate. Arizona is using these games, the last non-conference home series of the year, to prepare to face Six-Pac rival California in a three-game set starting Friday at Sancet Field.
