Cat golf in third after second round

The Arizona women's golf team finds itself alone in third place, at 22 over par, after the second day of competition at the 13th annual Dr. Donnis Thompson Rainbow Wahine Intercollegiate. The three day tournament is being held at the Kaneohe Klipper Golf Course in Honolulu.

Arizona shot an eight-over par 296 and has a team total of 598 heading into the final day. UA trails first place Tulsa by two strokes and second place Louisiana State by one stroke heading into the last round.

In the individual competition, the top Wildcat performer is junior Krissie Register, who is currently in a tie for fourth place at 3 over par. Register trails leader Ashley Winn of LSU by nine strokes.

The final round of the tournament concludes today.
