Today on Campus

  • UA graduate student Julia Moberg will speak on "Electronic Structure Studies of Discrete Organometallic Molecules on Surfaces." Attend this seminar this afternoon at 4 in Room 216 of the Chemistry and Biology Sciences.

  • Travel off campus tonight to uncover "The Hidden World of Sir Isaac Newton." UA Professor Matt Goldish will present this event at 7:30 p.m. at the Barnes and Noble Bookstore, located at 5130 E. Broadway.

  • UA's Olga Simek will lead the seminar "Heat Traces Asymptotics for Domains with Singular Boundaries" at 12:30 p.m. today in Room 200 of the Economics building.

  • Abraham Galadima will discuss "Potassium Release Kinetics and the Effect of Potassium Fertilizer Application on Cotton Growth, Development and Yield in Several Sonoran Desert Soils of Arizona." Get the dirt on this topic at 9 this morning in the Forbes Building, Room 307.

  • Join in "The Discovery of Two New Uraniam Satellites" with Phil Nicholson of Cornell University. The lesson will be held in the Lecture Hall, Room 308, of the Space Sciences building from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
