Quit gossiping

To the Editor:

What gave Josh Hamilton ("Neuter Clinton now," Apr. 9) the illusion that our President should be our model of Moral Correctness? I know you did not get this false impression by looking at the history of our former Presidents. Sure I will agree that our President's actions were inappropriate - but who cares? Stop sweating this small stuff and start writing about something worth the paper it's printed on. Drawing a blank? Why not get involved with something worth doing instead: volunteer as a tutor at a high school; protest Nike at the next game; join the university's Student Environmental Action Coalition; or get involved with something that will make an impact. After all, we all have an equal responsiblity to be this "Model of Moral Correctness".

No, your'e just too busy this semester, maybe next? Just as I thought - you were just repeating a little gossip about Bill the Thrill that you overheard while sipping your coffee.
