By Rick Pratt UA unresponsive to studentsEditor: Why is it that when the UA decides to build a giant hole in the ground for a bunch of freshmen who may or may not use it (I wouldn't have) they don't even hesitate to borrow the $20 million needed, but when a building that a significant portion of the entire student body uses everyday is in dire need of repair (it leaks from the roof to the basement whenever it rains) the administration seems to think a student fee is the answer. Perhaps because they know that the students really want the latter option. This would not bother me if they would simply remove the phrase "responsive to the wants and needs of the student body" from all of the brochures. Rick Pratt
