Columnist knows nothing of cajuns, New Orleans

Editor:

In regards to Josh Schneyer's commentary, "Riding Shotgun-Cajun Style." Josh, I do agree with your premise, allowing more violence will not reduce violence. However, why are you tossing the word "cajun" around? Your stereotyping of a southern redneck is fine, but using the word "cajun" is offensive.

You know nothing of cajuns, and should leave us (for I am a cajun) out of your whining. And for your criticism of New Orleans, you were lost and ended up in a bad neighborhood, buy a map, don't condemn a city.
