The UA club rugby team, which finished eighth in the nation last season, opens its 1997-98 schedule at the Reno Invitational tomorrow. The single day tournament will feature Humbolt State, Nevada, Sacramento State, Chico State and Stanford. Last year the Wildcats finished with a 15-3 record overall. They won the SoCal Conference crown with a 7-0 record in conference play. Overall, Arizona has won 13 consecutive league matches dating back to the 1995-96 season.
The UA men's club soccer team will be in action this weekend as they battle Northern Arizona and Embry Riddle College at Rincon Vista Sports Complex (Tucson Blvd. and 15th St.). The team plays NAU tomorrow at noon and Embry Riddle tomorrow night at 9. Last weekend the team traveled to Flagstaff, where they beat NAU, and Prescott, where they defeated Embry Riddle College.
