Think you're a true Arizona fan? See if you and the fam can survive the Wildcat's recipe for disaster and embark on a 51-hour Wildcat fix.

 

Friday

8 p.m. - 10:55 p.m. UA women's volleyball vs. Oregon St.($4) at McKale Center

10:55 p.m. - 11 p.m. Make mad dash to bathroom. Don't want to lose seat

11 p.m. - 1 a.m. Men's basketball Midnight Madness (free) McKale Center 1 a.m. - T.P.D. Celebrate start of basketball season until cops send you home.

Saturday

7 a.m. - 7:30 a.m. Wake-up, shower (optional), grab a Pop-tart and head to campus

7:30 a.m. - noon Tailgating begins (free), never too early for a beer

8 a.m. - 11 p.m. Volleyball Spike-It Tournament ($14) East UA Mall

or

8 a.m. - 11 p.m. Basketball Jam Fest ($28/team) Bear Down Gym

or

8 a.m. - noon Chain-Gang Tennis Classic ($28/pair) Gittings Tennis Court

or

8 a.m. - 11 p.m. 8-ball tournament ($28/pair) Memorial Student Union

10 a.m. - noon Punt, Pass and Kick Tournament ($10/pair) Bear Down Field

Noon - 12:30 p.m. Spend quality time with family. Have them take you out to eat.

12:30 p.m. - 4 p.m. UA football vs. Washington ($13-$36) Arizona Stadium (bonus points for full body paint)

4 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Post-Game Barbecue ($12,$8/kids)East UA Mall

6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Nap Time. Take care of shower if skipped in the morning.

7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. Movie: Men In Black ($2.50) Gallagher Theatre

9:30 p.m. - pass out Party because of huge UA victory or wallow in the defeat.

Sunday

8 a.m. Alarm goes off. Hit snooze.

8:15 a.m. - 9 a.m. Drag yourself out of bed. Shower (not optional).

9 a.m. - noon Southwest Harvest Breakfast ($10, $6/kids) Union Club, Student Union

Noon Suggest to parents that you get some culture. Check out response.

Noon - 4 p.m. Arizona Museum of Art Tour (free) (Hey, the entire weekend doesn't have to be sports)

4 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Suggest a trip to Tucson Mall. Last chance for free food and clothes.

5:30 p.m.- 8:30 p.m. Phoenix Suns vs. Houston Rockets ($12-$36) McKale Center

8:30 p.m. Take parents to airport.

8:30 p.m. - 8:45 p.m. Listen to mom tell you to call more.

9 p.m. - 11 p.m. Celebrate departure of parents.

11 p.m. - 11:05 p.m. Attempt to do homework (Yeah, right. Go to bed.)

Superduper fans

Before Midnight Madness, there is the Mexican Madness Dinner at the Arizona State Museum. Start off the night with good food and a little Mariachi music for a small fee of $12 or $6 for kids.

The Wildcat estimated for a family of four (three adults, one child) it would cost $548 to complete every activity, not including the souvenirs, beer and pair of corduroy shorts bought for dad so he doesn't make you look bad.
