Today on Campus

  • "Here's a story, of a man named Brady," and he is visiting the UA for a night. Barry Williams, better known as Greg Brady of "The Brady Bunch," will discuss his show "Growing Up Brady: I Was a Teenage Greg" at 7 p.m. in the Arizona Ballroom of the Memorial Student Union. Don't miss the Brady gossip.

  • See that "Art is a contemplation," just as artist Auguste Rodin once said, by visiting the UA Museum of Art from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to view "Rodin: Sculpture from the Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Collection." Rodin is considered to be one of the most important sculptors since Michelangelo. His ultimate goal was to communicate the vitality of the human spirit. If you can't view Rodin's works today, call 621-7567 to find out about another showing.

  • Tour the UA Museum of Art from 5 to 7 p.m. to witness an exhibit of "Idea, Image, Object, Action." Students from the new genre class will host this display in the Lionel Rombach Gallery.

  • Find out what the desert is all about at "Designs in Nature - Arizona Landscapes." Peter J. Kresan of the UA geosciences department will present this lesson from 12:15 to 12:50 p.m. in Gallagher Theatre as part of the Building Academic Community Speakers Series.

  • Invite your favorite female leader to attend "Women Leaders: Our Own Evolution" in the Rincon Room of the Memorial Student Union from noon to 1 p.m. Admissions Coordinator Tanisha Price of minority student recruitment will speak on leadership roles and skills and some of her favorite female leaders. Admission price is $2.

  • Thinking of becoming a math teacher? You're invited to talk with local math teachers, hear math majors describe the UA program and discuss job opportunities. This Math Open House will include food, puzzles, math games and models to assemble from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Mathematics building, Room 401N.

  • Get "The Proof" of the successful pursuit for Fermat's Last Theorem. Just tune in to this Nova math movie from 4 to 5 p.m. in the Family and Consumer Resources building, Room 202.

  • Check out Alfred Hitchcock's "Dial M For Murder" tonight at the Gallagher Theatre. The show starts at 5 p.m. Tickets are $2.50.
