Students didn't want to pay for bad Union

Editor:

I am writing in response to the many letters about the failed Student Union Referendum fee. I do not believe the students were tricked or misled in any fashion. The students simply do not wish to pay additional fees. The Student Union is not worth the pro posed $40. 'Tis a sad day when the campus rejoices because a McDonald's is installed.

Please do not misunderstand me, I love McDonald's, but if you examine the quality of food inside the Student Union and you will understand the student's cause for not funding the Student Union.

We have the money and we love to spend. Sell us something we want and we will give you the $40. It is that simple. If you are not sure about the students wants and needs, just ask them.
