Have you ever solved a crime?

Been witness to a murder?

Would you like to?

Well, tonight, you'll get your chance.

Bravvo! Productions is coming to the University of Arizona Student Union Cellar this evening to present Perish The Thought, an interactive murder-mystery performance.

The scene of the crime is the 13th Annual National Psychic Convention, which will be brought to life by the performers and attendees of the event.

Similar to the productions put on by the University Activities Board for parent's weekend, Perish The Thought is a professional traveling take on the crime-solving game.

Audience members will witness all of the events taking place at the Psychic Convention leading up to the murder. Then, by deciphering the clues, they'll be invited to attempt to finger the culprits.

The production, which is currently making its way around college campuses and organizations in the U.S., promises to be engaging, funny, and a challenge to the intellect. Even if you're not in the mood for mind-bending exercises, though, it's still worth a look, just for the inventive ideas behind the performance and for the many unique and wacky characters that will be in the spotlight.

After all, just imagine the crowd one might expect to find at a real psychic convention - mediums, mages, fortune tellers, soothsayers and more are sure to be on the scene.

And if you just happen to be an actual psychic yourself, you're in luck. Guessing the killer (or killers) offers more than just a sense of achievement - prizes will be on hand for the most astute sleuths among the crowd. Beverages and dessert will be available to all.

As opposed to the parent's weekend event, a full meal will not be served, in order to keep the price down and more appealing to students. Admission to Perish The Thought is $5, and tickets are available either by calling Jen Spinner at UAB, 621-0768, or at the door.

The action starts at 7 p.m., so make sure to arrive on time, or you just might miss a killing.
