The Arizona baseball team dropped to 13-2 on the season after getting crushed 15-3 by Loyola Marymount (5-5) on the first day of a tournament in San Diego.

Arizona starter Mike Crawford dropped to 2-1 on the season after giving up six runs, four earned, on eight hits and two walks over 5 2/3 innings pitched. Five UA errors contributed to the final score, with two each by sophomore third baseman Erik Torres and freshman right fielder Shelley Duncan.

Arizona's offense was completely shut down by LMU's Billy Traber, who only gave up seven hits in seven innings while striking out 10.

Arizona will have to regroup today to face San Diego at 3 p.m. PST.
