The exhibition "Captured Light" reflects the work of six artists working to merge science and art, to challenge the viewer. The artists, Michael Cain, Deanne Sabeck, Jim Feroe, Rebecca Deem, Fred Unterseher and August Muth, consider their works sources for meditation. The Philabaum Contemporary Art Glass Gallery is hosting this display Feb. 6 through Saturday April 17, 1999. The gallery is located at 711 S. Sixth Ave. 884-7404. Normal gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. At the back of the gallery is a working glassblowing studio where you can watch Tom Philabaum in action.
