To the editor,

I am writing to applaud Sen. Dave Snyder for not voting for the ASUA resolution against "Looking For Billy." His decision clearly shows that he is aware of how his constituency feels about this issue.

It is too bad that more of ASUA doesn't consider the fact that they represent the student body. I did not find the comic offensive, but took it as the social commentary that it was, and many people I talked to were also able to "get it."

It is too bad that ASUA seems unable to recognize satire when they see it. It is also too bad that they felt the need to pass a resolution proving that they are unable to recognize satire, and that they don't care what the rest of the students think.

Dave, you got my vote next election for showing good judgment.
