Wildcats fall to Beavers in tournament

The No. 2-ranked Arizona softball team was upset in the first round of elimination play at the Kia Klassic Tournament in Fullerton, Calif., on Saturday.
No. 12 Oregon State pulled off the 3-2 win over the Wildcats (26-3), UA's second loss at the tournament.
Arizona lost to No. 25 DePaul 2-0 Thursday night in pool play. Wildcat freshman pitcher Jennie Finch (11-1) picked up her first loss of the season.
The Wildcats did pick up two victories, 3-1 over Cal-State Northridge Thursday and 10-5 over San Diego State Friday.
Results from Arizona's consolation game late Saturday night with Florida were unavailable. Arizona faces Oregon in a doubleheader at Hillenbrand Stadium Friday night at 6 and then gets a rematch with the Beavers Saturday at the same time.
