Men's golf team finishes fifth at ASU

The Arizona men's golf team shot an 863, 1-under-par to come in fifth at the ASU Thunderbird/Savane Invitational in Tempe this weekend.
The Wildcats were led by Andy Barnes, who shot a 5-under-par, 211 for the two day, three round event. Barnes came in fifth, 10 shots behind ASU's Jeff Quinney (201, 15-under-par).
The Sun Devils also took home the team title with an 834, 30-under-par performance. UCLA, California and Oregon all finished between ASU and UA, giving the Pacific 10 Conference a sweep of the top five team spots. UCLA's Jeff McGraw, ASU's Paul Casey and the Bruins' B.J. Schlagenhauf finished in between Quinney and Barnes to also give the Pac-10 a sweep of the top five individual spots.
Other Wildcats of note included Derek Gillespie (tied for 22nd, 217, 1-over-par), Scott Moore (tied for 36th, 219, 3-over-par) and Cody Beyer (tied for 46th, 222, 6-over-par).
