Movies

The following films open in Tucson this weekend:
Lost & Found - Now that Chris Farley is gone, David Spade's going to try to support a whole movie on his own. There is another fat guy in it, though.
Pushing Tin - John Cusack and Billy Bob Thornton play rival air traffic controllers in a high stakes game of power and prestige where the sky is the limit.
The School Of Flesh - The latest French film to open in town, starring Isabelle Huppert as a middle aged divorcee who picks up a younger bisexual man.
Windhorse - The story of a Tibetan pop singer who gains favor with the Chinese government but must face the oppression of her sister, a Buddhist nun.

Music


Chris Whitley plays Club Congress tonight with special guest Tim Gibbons. Tickets are $6.
The Simplistics are at the Third Stone tonight, along with Splendida. Call for details.
The Bob Marley Festival is back for the sixth time at the Pima County Fairgrounds tomorrow and Sunday, featuring a whole host of reggae acts, 3 p.m.-midnight. Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday. Admission is a $5 donation in either cash or food.
Robert Goulet, Vegas legend is at the Rialto Theatre tomorrow night, accompanied by a 20 piece orchestra, to benefit the American Cancer Society. $50 donation includes a special reception.
