Men's golf team in 8th place at Pac-10s

The UA men's golf team was still in eighth place yesterday after three rounds at the Pacific 10 Conference Championships in Seattle.
Arizona's score of 4-over-par 354 in the third round gave them an overall total of 47-over-par 1097 with one round remaining.Arizona State (3-over-par 1053) is in the lead by 16 shots over Oregon, followed by Washington and Stanford.
UA's Derek Gillespie is the top Wildcat individual, tied for 19th after a 3-under-par 67 pushed him up 22 spots from Monday's finish.
Stanford's Joel Kribel has a 13-under-par 197, taking the tournament lead today away from ASU's Paul Casey (5-under-par 205). Other Wildcats are as follows: Cody Beyer (tied for 22nd place, 7-over-par 217), Scott Moore (tied for 26th, 9-over 219), Andy Barnes (45th, 12-over 222), Tim Weiss and Brandon Smith (tied for 46th, 16-over 226).
