Four-day SIS hiatus begins tomorrow
Administrators are warning the UA community to finish Student Infor-mation System business today, because a four-day shutdown to fix potential Y2K problems starts tomorrow. UA Chief Budget Officer Dick Roberts said when the procedure is finished, the system will be "year-2000 compliant."

Now it's showdown time
No more hype, no more talk. Tomorrow night it all comes down to what's on the field. The 10th-ranked Arizona Wildcats and No. 3 UCLA Bruins go head-to-head at Arizona Stadium at 7 p.m. "It's really exciting to play in a meaningful game," said UA head coach Dick Tomey. While Tomey doesn't like to talk about anything beyond the present, the game is obviously important to the race for the conference title.

Clash of the Titans
History can loosely be defined as a series of struggles. For as long as man has walked the Earth, he has pitted himself against his fellow man to fight for his way of life. Revolutionists and monarchists. Communists and capitalists. Axis and Allies. Red Sox fans and Yankee fans. And so on.
