To the editor,

In light of recent Tara Taylor-bashing, it seems some students have lost sight of what Tara Taylor was trying to support. If those who dislike her views were to take a step back and really think about her views instead of jumping on the "freedom of speech", anti-Greek bandwagon, they would perhaps see Tara's true agenda.

Tara is doing what few, very few, do at this school: show school spirit and support those UA traditions that at one time meant something to the UA student body.

So it is revealed to the student body who Wilbur the Wildcat is. What a monumental and terrific boost for Freedom of Speech advocates everywhere throughout the world.

Who cares? No one.

So I'm sure Tara's agenda was not to block the Wildcat's right to freedom of speech, but simply to maintain what few legacies of school spirit the UA has left. I commend Tara's initiative, and feel her crusade is very notable and sincere.

People need to step away from the "bandwagon" way of thinking that requires the easy, no-thought necessary, means to an opinion, and actually think and begin to understand what makes people say and do what.

Tara is merely saying and doing, "Go Cats!"
