Some UA track athletes start season early

Members of the UA track and field team will see limited action this weekend when pole vaulters Mike Mortensen, Jeff Dutoit, Andrea Neary and Lenora Petrol-Tobler travel to Reno to compete in the Silver State Games.
Also leaving town for some early competition will be senior distance runner Abdi Abdirahman. He will compete in the 3000-meters at the San Diego Indoor Games tomorrow. The invitational race will feature a strong field of runners from the collegiate, as well as the professional ranks.
