Dean's letter illustrates problems
To the editor, Thank you, Vita Hunn, for proving Rebecca Isaac's point. You say that for eighteen months a new code of conduct has been considered. I know that in the past eighteen months girls have been raped and they have been left without adequate recourse against their attackers. The Board of Regents is dragging their feet and this is an issue that cannot wait. I support Rebecca's attempts to take this issue to the national level so that students across the country can be protected on their campuses. What is the alternative? To sit back and hope that no one is sexually assaulted in the next eighteen months while the Regents talk about making changes rather than making them. Karen Bonkoski English senior
