Talk about this story

With a hat-trick by junior center Marc Harris, the Icecats moved one step closer to advancing to the American Collegiate Hockey Association final four yesterday, by defeating Wisconsin-Whitewater 7-4, in Minot, N.D.

Arizona now moves on to face Michigan-Dearborn, with the winner advancing to the final four, and the loser going home.

Michigan defeated Wisconsin-Whitewater Wednesday, 7-3.

The Icecats senior goalie Mark Meister continued his strong goaltending by stopping 21 of 25 shots he faced.

Junior Paul Dorn also chipped in on the scoring, netting the Icecats first goal of the game, to go along with his two assists.

The Icecats put the game out of reach with two goals in the first five minutes of the third from Harris, and coasted to the 7-4 win.

Today's game against Michigan-Dearborn will start at noon.
