MSU is legit, they proved that last week. Nick Saban is legit, he proved that last week. Drew Brees is also legit, but he wonāt prove that this week as the Spartans squeak by the Boilers in West Lafayette. Michigan State 34 Purdue 31 The Bucks are a joke, they shouldnāt be ranked at all. No. 18 is a godsend to Columbus if you ask me. PSU on the other hand is the best in the nation, hands down. No way OSU can pull it off in Happy Valley. Penn State 40 Ohio State 21 While the Pac-10, week in and week out, proves that any non-conference game is a sure-fire loss, the Trojans will change that this week as they rebound with a huge rushing game against the Irish. Jarious fumbles on their last possession. USC 21 Notre Dame 17 The ĪCuse will bring their A-game into Blacksburg this weekend and come out with the biggest win of the season. Vick and the Hokies are a solid team, but aināt no way they stay undefeated. Memo to Lee Corso, Va. Tech isnāt that good. Syracuse 41 Virginia Tech 31 Stanford is going to fall apart and for those like myself waiting for it to happen, we will continue to wait. OSU brings a good rushing game, but Stanford understands they have to have this one. Stanford 31 Oregon State 24

Every kid born in East Lansing this past week was named Plaxico, after Plaxico Burress, Stateās top receiver who burned Michigan. Now that all the fires around MSU have been put out, itās time for Purdue to knock the Spartans back into reality. Purdue 35 Michigan State 28 Penn State plays most of its difficult games at home, and this should give them the advantage in the Big Ten. Ohio State is having a rough year, and it wonāt get any easier as Brandon Short and company swarm Bellisari and Wiley. Where has Arrington been? Penn State 34 Ohio State 13 This is the Pac-10ās last chance to win a big non-conference game, but after getting shut down last week in Tucson, it doesnāt look good for the Trojans. Jarious Jackson gets better every week, and the Insight.com Bowl selection committee notices. Notre Dame 24 USC 21 Lee Corso says Va. Tech is the best team in the country, and the Hokies can take another step in that direction against the Orangemen. But not so fast, my friend! Syracuse pulls off the upset, and the Big East race is blown wide open. Syracuse 28 Virginia Tech 24 Two great defenses here, thatās for sure. San Jose State made a mockery of the Pac-10 by beating Stanford, and now itās time for the Cardinal to end their Northwestern-like run to Pasadena. Dennis Ericksonās wide-open offense outscores Stanfordās. Oregon State 56 Stanford 48

The Spartans proved they are for real, but this week an emotional letdown could be in order. The Boilermakers have their backs against the wall after two straight losses and will come out firing. It wonāt be enough though, as Drew Breesā struggles continue. Michigan State 24 Purdue 17 LaVar Arrington breaks out of his mini-slump and finally gets a tackle for a loss. Ohio State is struggling and they wonāt get back on track Saturday. Joe Pa inches closer to a championship with a resounding win over the overmatched Buckeyes. Penn State 45 Ohio State 14 This is a revenge game for Notre Dame after USC ended the Irishās hopes of playing in a BCS game last year. Jarious Jackson will explode on the Trojan defense and submit his name into the Heisman race. Notre Dame 44 USC 20 Iām with Lee Corso, the Hokies will play in the Sugar Bowl. Vick is the real deal. On the defensive end, the Tech defense will score at least once and block a punt. Bourbon Street will be filled with hillbillies come New Year. Virginia Tech 35 Syracuse 3 Dennis Erickson and his spread offense will light up the scoreboard, but their defense will have its hands full with Troy Walters. The up and under on this game will come close to 100 as the Cardinal pull out a squeaker in the ćNo Defense Bowl.ä Stanford 49 Oregon State 47

Last week MSU defeated UM by 3 points. UM defeated Purdue 38-12 two weeks ago. Using various math formulas, laws of probability and other hidden methods, MSU should be the clear victor. Michigan State 38 Purdue 9 PSU hasnāt been dominant since showing UA the door. Ohio State seems to shrink from their mighty stature during big games this season. When two overrated teams clash, someone has to lose. And I have a soft spot for Ohio. Ohio State 31 Penn State 23 Two of college footballās proudest traditions clash in South Bend. But football purists beware ö there is no Keyshawn or O. J. to terrorize the Irish D, as Jarious Jackson pulls off his best Joe Montana impression and scores on the last drive of the game Notre Dame 24 USC 20 If it werenāt for one TD by Michigan, Syracuse would still be undefeated and in the top 10. Troy Nunes is running the option to perfection and next season he will be making Orange fans say Donovan who? But this is Michael Vickās season. Virginia Tech 31 Syracuse 14 Can you say touchdown? The Pac-10 officials can, and they will be calling it often, as Stanford wins big for the last time before being brought down to earth by USC and Washington in the next two weeks. Stanford 51 Oregon State 42
