Trying to decide who to vote for in Tucson's upcoming mayoral race? Make that choice easier and swing by the Rincon room of the Memorial Student Union today at noon. The three main party candidates will be present, and ready to answer your questions about the future of Tucson. This event is sponsored by the Office of Community Relations and ASUA. Candidates taking part in the forum are Republican Robert Walkup, Democrat Molly McKasson and Libertarian Ed Kahn. The debate will be facilitated by the League of Women Voters. Practice, Practice, Practice. These are the messages of our youth being played out at Sancet Field as the baseball team prepares for a run at Omaha. Intrasquad scrimmages continue to the delight of any and all onlookers. Major League Baseball's scouts swing by at any time, so these players will be performing at a top-notch level. The game starts at 6 p.m., so check out the players as they prepare for the upcoming spring season.

Designed to make you delve deep into your feelings, the Tunnel of Oppression continues tomorrow and Thursday at the same times. Give Matt Helm a call at 626-4855 if you have any questions.

It has been said that one can learn better while eating. Although this might not be a scientific fact, it is the philosophy going into the Middle Eastern Studies Brown Bag lecture today at noon. The title of today's presentation: "North Africa as Barbary: Imagined Community and Toponymic Politics." The lecture will be given by Lofti Ben Rejeb, a professor of American Studies at the University of Tunis in Tunisia. Topics under discussion during the speech include the feelings of North Africa during the Ottoman ruling period, and other related issues. Bring your lunch up to Franklin Room 204 and be prepared to listen. Call 621-5450 if you desire any additional information.

Come join some soloists from the UA School of Music as they perform tonight at "An Evening of Italian Food and Song." The Italian diner will be accompanied by performances of Puccini and Verdi songs.
