Column illustrates moral decline

Talk about this story

To the editor,

Thank you for shedding some light on how times have changed for the worst. I, like you, feel that the morals in our country has gone way down hill. I did not get to see the drag contest on the Mall, but I read about it in the Wildcat. I was appalled that the UA would sponsor such an event and how it was advertised in the paper like it was a normal and kosher event. I am by no means a bigoted Bible Jim, but I think that if the Lord had meant for a man to be with a man and a woman to be with a woman, then we would all have the same plumbing. Homosexuality is wrong in my book. I was fortunate enough to have good parents who have instilled in me good values and morals, and it sickens me to see how acceptable homosexuality has become in our society. I fear bringing children into this world someday because of all the deviant and sick behavior that has become the norm. I really enjoyed your column. You made several good points. Keep up the good work!
