The UA Oasis Center will be handing out pamphlets on the Mall today, continuing Sexual Assault Awareness Week. The members of the Oasis Center can be seen at the west end of the UA Mall handing out information on what to do in the event of a sexual assault. Some representatives from the Tucson Rape Crisis Center and the Women's Health Advocate will be on hand to answer any questions you may have regarding these issues. They will be on the Mall today and tomorrow for interested students. You can also call the Oasis Center at 626-2051.

UA football season tickets are still on sale on the Mall today from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Sure, they may have gotten whipped by Penn State, but you have to stick by your team. They may be down for the count, but they are certainly not out. Great times can still be had at the games, so pick up your tickets today. And tons of vendors and free stuff are still available everywhere you turn.

You have been waiting all night for that call from your sweetheart, but need to go meet with your study group for that big test tomorrow. Will your answering machine work for a change? Unlikely. Well, greek house and dorm residents can now rejoice because they can have voice mail installed into their phone systems. CCIT is preparing a service offered for the first time at the UA for students who live on campus. The voice mail will allow you to retrieve your messages from any touch-tone phone, and can be hooked up to a pager or another phone to let you know when that special someone is calling. Call CCIT at 621-8999 to get the ball rolling.

Check out results and pics from the Hubble Telescope tonight at a colloquium titled "The Hubble Constant Key Project: Final Results." Sponsored by the Steward Observatory, they have Dr. Shoko Sakai, from the National Optical Astronomy Observatories presenting the findings. The actual presentation begins at 4 p.m. in Steward Observatory's room N210, but refreshments can also be enjoyed beginning at 3:30 p.m. in Steward Observatory room 204. Contact Pat Breyfogle at 318-8115 if you have further questions.

System and Industrial Engineering majors get the chance to find out more about the college and field they reside in today from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. The UA Department of Systems and Industrial Engineering is hosting a seminar today to help students learn a little more about the field of engineering, as well as how to go about their college career planning to be an engineer. They plan to cover how to use technology in the next millennium, and the future of the department. It all takes place in Engineering room 301. You can call Helen Don at 621-6551 if you would like further information.
