No need to 'sell' God

By Alexander D. Young
Arizona Daily Wildcat,

To the Editor,

About the opinion that if the "product" is so great, it should sell itself. I am a Christian and am under that same impression. That is why I am not in any sort of evangelism or anything like that. If people want to get to know God, they'll come to you. I play the guitar and am fairly competent in the art, but I never talk about how awesome I am because I feel that if I am really that good, I won't have to say anything, people will just know when they hear. Irritating people with one's beliefs is not the solution; displaying what it's like to have the beliefs that one has is.

It's simple: if people want to know about God, they can find out for themselves. They don't need "salesmen pouncing" on them!
