Part of the Women's Studies Colloquium, Dr. Bella Vivante will present "Will the Real Helen Please Stand up? The Complex Mythologies of Helen, Mortal and Goddess." This lecture will take place at the Engineering and Mines building, Room 304 from 12:30-2:30 p.m. Donna Vanture can answer any questions at 621-7338.

Kendra Gaines of the Writing Skills Improvement Program will present a lecture on "Narrowing a Research Topic Down to Size" at 4 p.m. in the Modern Languages building, Room 311. For more information, call Donna Rabuck at 621-5849.

A Valentine's Day concert, "Romance A Duo," will take place tonight at 7:30 at the Fine Arts Complex's Crowder Hall. A Physics Colloquium entitled, "The Peles Project: Solar Energy for Schools," by Abdoulaye F. Diallo, Technological University of Panama, will take place today at 3 p.m. This lecture will be held in the Physics and Atmospheric Sciences building, Room 220. For the first time, the UA Campus Health Service will participate with other campuses nationwide in Sexual Responsibility Week. A Contraception 101 Class will be held from 5-6 p.m. at the Campus Health Center, Room D. Contact Lee Ann Hamilton at 621-4967 for more information.

Part of the Steward Observatory Public Evening Lecture Series, "Astronomy of the Twentieth Century," by Helmut Abt of Kitt Peak Observatory, will take place tonight at 7:30. Following the talk at Steward Observatory, Room N210, there will be opportunities to view the night sky (weather permitting) with the use of a 21-inch telescope. The Office of Community Relations Ambassador Program will hold the UA Diaper Drive, which will benefit the Southern Arizona Community and will be donated to various qualified agencies. The main campus collection areas will be the Memorial Student Union, the Visitor Center and the University Services Building, and donations can be made between 8 a.m.-5 p.m. The men's basketball game on Thursday night will mark the closing of the first campus diaper drive.
