University police took a woman to the hospital Monday night after fearing that she might harm herself or members of the public.

The woman was wandering around in a parking lot with her dog near the Arizona Cancer Center, 1515 N. Campbell Ave, police said.

Police asked her what she was doing and she told them she was looking for her car, then that she was being followed and, finally, that she lived in heaven.

The officer tried to speak with her, but she didn't appear to comprehend what he was telling her, reports stated. She told police she didn't know what time it was or how long she had been searching for her car.

After speaking with the woman, the officer decided to take her for a consultation at Kino Community Hospital, 2800 E. Ajo Way, where she was admitted.

An employee called police Monday after discovering pornography on his office computer.

The man told police he believed someone entered his office and used his computer to access pornographic Web sites between the dates of Sept. 28 and Oct. 12.

The victim told officers he was so angry he erased the information from his computer and removed the time the site was accessed. He also said he installed a computer password to stop it from happening again, reports stated.

Police were unable to determine a suspect because of the large amount of people who have access to the office.

Officers arrested a male student after he allegedly smoked marijuana on campus and tried to outrun police Monday night, police reports stated.

An officer was on patrol at 11:46 p.m. on the south side of the Arizona State Museum, 1013 E. University Blvd. As the officer went around to the other side of the building, he saw a man, later identified as Jeremiah L. Roach, 18, of Manzanita-Mohave Residence Hall, 1000 N. Park Ave., running away, reports stated.

The officer followed Roach and could smell what he believed to be marijuana coming from the direction of the running man, reports stated.

Roach ran north across North Campus Drive and then headed toward the Music building, 1017 N. Olive Road. At that point, he ran out of breath and sat down on a loading dock.

The officer asked Roach why he ran, and the suspect replied that he was afraid of getting in trouble. He also told the officer he doesn't smoke marijuana in his dorm room because he doesn't want to get kicked out.

The student said he had been smoking out of a homemade aluminum pipe, which he tossed as he ran from the officer. Roach and the officer retraced their steps to try and find the pipe but were unsuccessful.

Roach was cited on suspicion of marijuana possession and released.

A custodial employee found a syringe Monday night while cleaning Yuma Residence Hall, 1107 E. North Campus Drive.

The employee was cleaning at 11:26 p.m. when he picked up a trash bag and saw the syringe inside the bag, police reports stated.

Police took the syringe, the cap of which was missing, as evidence, reports stated.

Police warned three men not to trespass Monday night after they were seen skateboarding on campus.

The men were seen doing tricks on their skateboards at 9:32 p.m. in front of Arizona-Sonora Residence Hall, 910 E. Fifth St., according to police.

None of the men were students and no one was cited for trespassing on campus before.
