A UA student was arrested Thursday after assaulting and threatening another student, reports stated.

A UA student called police after another student assaulted him at Corleone Apartments, 1330 N. Park Ave., reports stated.

The student told officers that Jonathan Dentale, 20, a resident of the apartment complex, knocked on his door and confronted him, reports stated.

The student then told officers he thought the confrontation was going too far and tried to close the door on Dentale, but Dentale forced the door open and struck him with his hand in the chest area, reports stated.

During the assault, the student said Dentale told him he will "end him," reports stated.

Dentale then left, and the student called to report the incident, reports stated.

Officers them made contact with Dentale, who was "willing to give himself up," and identified him with the help of the student who was assaulted and another student who witnessed the event, reports stated.

The officers read Dentale - who was with several friends, one of whom was videotaping the incident - his rights, told him he was a suspect in an assault case, handcuffed him and took him to Pima County Jail. He was charged with assault and making threats.


Officers discovered a broken window at a campus building Thursday, reports stated.

Officers opening the northwest doors of the Modern Languages building, 1423 E. University Blvd., noticed the lower portion of one of the glass doors had been smashed by a small rock, reports stated.

The officers were unable to determine when the damage occurred.

There are no witnesses or suspects at this time.


A UA student lost his watch on campus sometime Thursday, reports stated.

The student said he lost his Tag Huer-brand watch, valued at $1,700, somewhere between the Main Library, 1510 E. University Blvd., and University Heights Apartments, 1201 N. Park, reports stated.

The student said he checked the area but wasn't able to find the watch, reports stated.


A car belonging to a UA employee was broken into Thursday while at a UA parking garage, reports stated.

The employee said she parked her 1997 Chevy S10 in the Main Gate Garage, 815 E. Second St., Thursday morning and, when she returned later, noticed the passenger side window had been smashed, reports stated.

The employee also noticed her CD player, valued at $200, was missing from the car, reports stated.

The officer could not find any fingerprints on the car, reports stated.

There are no witnesses or suspects at this time.


A bicycle belonging to a UA student was reported stolen from outside a UA building Thursday, reports stated.

The student said she locked her BMX GT bicycle, valued at $220, to a bicycle rack on the east side of the Architecture building Wednesday evening and noticed it missing Thursday morning, reports stated.

The cable lock used to lock the bike was found cut at the scene, reports stated.

There are no witnesses or suspects at this time.


A UA employee called police Thursday after a co-worker pushed him during an argument, reports stated.

An employee of Arizona Health Sciences Center's facilities-management office, 1451 N. Cherry Ave., told police he was moving several items from one office to another when the man he was working with began yelling and pushed over a filing cabinet, reports stated.

The employee said he told the man to "cool off," but the co-worker grabbed him and knocked over the filing cabinet, reports stated.

The employee showed police the area where he had been grabbed, but officers did not notice any sign of injury, reports stated.

The employee said he did not wish to press charges.

The man who grabbed the employee told officers that the two had been having an ongoing dispute and that he pushed the employee after his "personal space" had been invaded, reports stated.

Neither of the employees was arrested.
