A UA student was propositioned for sex while she looking for a book inside a campus library Sunday, reports stated.

The student said she was on the fourth floor of the Main Library, 1510 E. University Blvd., looking for a book when she noticed a man was looking at her, reports stated.

The man than gave the student a note that read, "Do you want to have sex?" reports stated.

The student told police that after she read the note, she gave the note back to the man and walked away.

The student said the man, described as being about 5 feet 9 inches tall with blond hair and in his mid-20s, followed her from floor to floor, reports stated.

The student then turned around to confront the man, who was rubbing his genitals and motioning for the student to approach him, reports stated.

The student told officers that this made her feel very uncomfortable and that she would press charges if the man is located.

Police searched the library but were unable to locate the man.

The student said she could not do a composite sketch of the man.

Three UA students were warned Sunday about smoking a "blunt" in a university apartment building, reports stated.

An officer responded to Palm Shadows Apartments, 1816 E. Helen St., because of an odor of burning marijuana coming from one of the apartments, reports stated.

The officer knocked on the door of the apartment, which was emitting a marijuana odor, and a UA student answered the door, reports stated.

The officer stepped inside the apartment and asked the student who answered the door, and the other two students there, if they knew why he was there, reports stated.

The student nodded his head and the officer read all three of the students their Miranda rights, reports stated.

The student who answered the door told the officers that they had been smoking a "blunt," which is a cigar containing marijuana, reports stated.

The officer spoke to all three students outside of the apartment, and all three admitted to smoking marijuana, reports stated.

The officer also noticed that all three students had a whitish-green coating on their tongues, reports stated.

Because of a lack of evidence, however, the officer did not arrest any of the students and told them that the matter would be handled administratively.

A UA employee called police when an unknown suspect verbally abused her Saturday evening, reports stated.

An employee of Park Student Union, 615 N. Park Ave., said she asked a topless man who was inside the building to put on a shirt while he was in the building, reports stated.

The employee said that another man began using profanities toward her, telling her they didn't have to "wear fucking shirts," reports stated.

The employee told police the second man appeared intoxicated, reports stated.

The employee then threatened to call the police, and the second man said, "Call the fucking police," reports stated.

The second man, who was described as about 19 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall and dressed in a yellow shirt and flip-flops, ran out of the door of the building, reports stated.

Police searched the area for both men but were unsuccessful, reports stated.

The employee said she would assist in prosecuting the man in the yellow shirt for disorderly conduct if he were to be found.

A UA student's bicycle was reported stolen from outside a university building Sunday, reports stated.

The student said she locked her Marin-brand mountain bike, valued at $610, to a bike rack on the northeast corner of the Gould-Simpson Building, 1040 E. Fourth St., Friday evening, reports stated.

When the student returned Sunday, she noticed the bike, which had been locked with a cable lock, was missing, reports stated.

The lock, which was valued at $35, was no longer in the area either, reports stated.

The bike was registered with Parking and Transportation, and there are no witnesses or suspects at this time.
