Don't eat cows, pigs, sheep or chickens? Maybe you do and have wondered what it would be like to turn to the other side. The Students for the Ethical Treatment of Animals will be on the UA Mall today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to hold a Meat-Out and distribute educational materials about vegetarianism and veganism. Are you ready to rumble? Well it's not a boxing match, but it's definitely the Main Event. Stop by Old Main to check out the internship and job fair sponsored by the UA Foundation and Career Services. Government agencies and non-profit organizations will attend to give information about careers within their fields. They will also give information about volunteering and internship opportunities. Math isn't just a garbled, complex glob of numbers. Mathematics describes nature and its beauty in many ways. Stop by the Integrated Learning Center, Room 150 from 12:15 p.m. to 12:50 p.m. to hear Joceline Lega of the mathematics department talk about "Patterns and Symmetry in Nature: Why Sand Ripples and Fingerprints Look Alike." The French and Italian Film Series is in full swing in the spring, and tonight you can view "La Veuve de St. Pierre," a French film directed by Leconte and shot in 2000.
