Looking for different take on the whole "Christ" thing? Go see the Italian film "The Gospel According to Saint Matthew," a satirical yet oddly plausible portrayal of the son of God. It's a great addition to any pastel-laden Easter holiday. The International Arts Society is screening the film Friday night at 7:30 in the Modern Languages Auditorium.
How about some art from the big apple? Today, two New York artists, Stanley Whitney and Marina Adams, will offer a gallery talk and slide lecture entitled ReViewing Abstraction. The presentation will be held from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the UA Museum of Art.
