Enjoy a little Valentine's Day humor as a band of drag queens stumble upon a national travesty in tonight's screening of "Some Like It Hot." This free screening is a part of the International Arts Society Film series and begins promptly at 7:30 p.m. Bring your friends and hike up your skirt as you snag a seat in the spacious Modern Languages auditorium for the Friday night affair. For more information on this free screening, call Charles Scruggs at 621-3527.

Don't cram yourself into another movie theatre or a packed restaurant on this Friday night, instead enjoy the cooler summer evenings of Tucson as the UA women's soccer team charges the field against New Mexico. The game begins at 7 p.m. at the usual Murphey Soccer Stadium located on 15th Street and Plumber Avenue. For more information on this free evening of fun, call the McKale ticket office at 621-2287.

This Weekend

Slap some red paint on your cheek and don your favorite blue T-shirt as the UA Wildcat football team takes on Idaho in its 71st season home opener tomorrow night. The fun and games start at 7 p.m. at the Arizona Stadium. There will be television coverage so make sure to bring plenty of spirit along with you. For more information, or to purchase tickets, call the McKale ticket office at 621-2287.

New or returning students looking to make connections around campus are encouraged to attend tomorrow's 19th Annual Welcome Brunch for black students on the UA campus. Breakfast will be served at 9:30 a.m. at the Marriott University Park Hotel. For more information on this great opportunity, call Carlene Franklin with the Martin Luther King Jr. Center at 621-3419.

Are you getting good grades in your UA pre-law classes, but need a little help acing your LSAT's? With many testing dates coming up in the next month, you may want to check out the University Learning Center's LSAT preparation course. The class offers a convenient campus location, test taking strategies and take-home study materials. Tomorrow is the first day of registration, and places are filling up quickly. For more information on class schedules and fees, call Karen Gutierrez at 621-4548.
