Explore the curves and slopes of the human form at tonight's artist lecture by Jeanne Dunning at the UA Center for Creative Photography. Tease your senses as Dunning delves into the photographic, sculptural and video work she has documented on the male and female body. The lecture begins at 5 p.m. in the main center and a small reception will follow. For more information, contact the Center for Creative Photography at 621-7968.

Groove to the beat, and get sweaty for a great cause. Celebrate life at tonight's Funk for Freedom Fundraiser on the UA Mall. Watch local bands Sunday Afternoon, Piranha, Dahlia and Fuzzy Jazz break it down from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Although the show is free of charge, donations will be accepted, and all proceeds will go to the American Red Cross Relief Fund to aid those involved in the Sep. 11 attacks against the nation. For more information on dancing, donating or volunteering, contact Chrissy Lieberman at 621-5853.

The week is over and the time has come to release your frustrations through spoken word at tonight's Phi Beta Sigma Poetry Night. Bring your most intimate pieces, grab the microphone and wait your turn in the Education building's Kiva auditorium at 6 p.m. Spend the evening unwinding while sharing some of your best work with your peers. For more information, contact the Phi Beta Sigma fraternity at 621-0759.

THIS WEEKEND

Put on your favorite shades and head out for some ol' fashioned summer-time fun tomorrow on the UA Mall. The Delta Tau Delta fraternity invites you to take advantage of the warm weather and enjoy a watermercy toss, relay races, tug-of-war competitions and a watermelon-eating contest. It's free to play, so bring your friends and get ready to get down and dirty. Games will continue from noon to 6 p.m. in front of the Student Union Memorial Center. For more information, call Ryan at 695-4236.

Why settle for watching the game on television when you can be cheering on the UA Wildcats tomorrow night in the Red Zone? Pull your brightest UA paraphernalia off the walls and head on down to watch your UA football stars take on the UNLV Rebels at 7 p.m. in the Arizona Stadium. For more information on the game, or to purchase advance tickets, contact the McKale ticket office at 621-2287.
